Findmyexpert: August update

BY Find My Expert

David Copeland, CEO of findmyexpert, discusses his plans for G2E Las Vegas, the launch of iGamingUSA, and introduces the iGamingUSA Golf Classic…

It has been a couple of months since the US Supreme Court repealed the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA), paving the way for legal sports betting in New Jersey and beyond. It was a day many thought might never come, myself included.

But the landmark decision means the USA has gone from a land of prohibition to a land of opportunity, and operators, suppliers, businesses and professionals are doing all they can to get in on the action as sports betting rolls out across the country.

Following the repeal, findmyexpert has been a hive of activity with the team vetting and on-boarding 50+ experts to our growing network of talent, and placing a large number in project and consulting roles with major casino and racetrack operators.

iGamingUSA.com: the new go-to industry resource

To coincide with the PASPA repeal, we officially launched iGamingUSA.com, a new resource for online gambling businesses and professionals looking to establish themselves in the nascent US market.

The site has a vast library of articles and interviews, with contributions from a range of experts as well as key thought leaders and decision makers. Most of the experts featured can be engaged through findmyexpert.com.

If you would like to contribute to iGamingUSA.com you can learn more about the types of articles we are looking for and how to pitch to our editors here.

Introducing the iGamingUSA Golf Classic

iGamingUSA will be hosting the inaugural USA V Rest of the World Golf Tournament in Las Vegas on Monday 8th October. The event will allow attendees to get into the swing of things ahead of G2E, which kicks off the following day.

The tournament is limited to 76 places, so if you would like to enter email your Name, Company Name, Handicap and Nationality to david@igamingusa.com before 31st July. Sponsorship opportunities are still available, too.

Vegas baby: Findmyexpert to attend G2E

After leading the ROTW team to victory at the iGamingUSA Golf Classic, representatives from Findmyexpert will be attending G2E Las Vegas, which takes place at the spectacular Sands Expo from 8th – 11th October.

We will use the conference to meet with iGaming and sportsbook experts, and talk them through the many benefits of signing up with findmyexpert.

We also have meeting slots available for operators wanting to learn more about FME, the top talent we have on our books, and how our platform can provide instant access to experts with a proven track record of success.

To arrange a meeting either as an expert or operator, email david@findmyexpert.com.

Across the pond

The industry’s attention is on the USA right now, but we have been spreading the world about findmyexpert closer to home, too. I have recently returned from a trip to the Isle of Man where I met with several tier one operators and talked them through the FME concept.

The feedback received was hugely positive, and will be used to improve the platform and product over the coming months. I have a similar trip planned to Malta in the coming weeks, so if you’d like to learn more about FME – either as an expert or operator – do get in touch.

One more thing

The Supreme Court’s decision to repeal PASPA feels like a new dawn for the global gambling and iGaming industry, and presents a huge opportunity for all stakeholders to capitalise on what is one of the largest untapped markets in the world.

There is much debate as to whether it will be the European operators or the local US operators that come out on top, and this is a topic that will certainly be discussed on the pages of iGamingUSA.

Here at findmyexpert we believe both have an equal opportunity, and by sharing expertise and knowledge from Europe with operators in the USA, both parties can succeed. One thing’s for sure, it’s going to be one hell of a ride for all involved.
